About the author

 

Abena Bosia is a Florida native and has been an elementary school educator for 13+ years. She has a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Developmental Disabilities. She has taught in Shanghai, China at an International School where she began using the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program to teach young children how to become self-aware, kind and an advocate for themselves in any situation with respect.  She wants children to be able to use their voices to fully express how they feel.
